Program Details
The Southeast Business Assistance Center Microgrant Program provides funding opportunities to eligible historically disadvantaged businesses in Southeastern Pennsylvania. This program will award an estimated 100-200 grants in an anticipated amount of $2,500 to $5,000 to support historically disadvantaged business in our community
These microgrants are designed to equip entrepreneurs with the resources, strategies, and tools needed to grow their businesses, improve performance, and navigate the path to success. The microgrant funds do not require repayment and may be used for a variety of business-related expenses that support growth.

Eligibility
To be considered for the Microgrant Program, small businesses must meet the following criteria:
Small Business Assistance
- In the past 6 months, the applicant must have received either one-on-one assistance for attended an eligible event from the SEBAC
Business Ownership
- The business must be at least 51% owned by individuals from historically underserved or underrepresented communities
Location
- Be a for-profit business located in either Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County
- Generate at least 51% of your revenues and file tax return in PA
Business Stage
- Applicants must be actively operating at the time grant funds are awarded
- Have fewer than 100 full-time employees
Documentation
- Applicants must be able to provide official documentation verifying eligibility, which may include documents such as: federal tax returns, business formation documents, government-issued photo identification, and more
